About us

Welcome to the all new Shop Cadillacville. I am pleased to announce that CadillacVille is under new ownership & management. We have recently purchased the CadillacVille business, although I have been restoring Cadillac’s and selling Cadillac parts for over 25 years now. I've always loved cars, I worked and saved up to buy my 1st car when I was 15 years old, I just couldn’t wait any longer. I wish I could say it was a Cadillac, but I was only 15 and a sporty little convertible had caught my eye. While that car was lots of fun, it didn't take me too long to realize that comfort and style were 2 qualities in a car not to be overlooked, and so 25 years ago I bought my 1st Cadillac, a 1956 Coupe that needed restoration. As I worked away restoring that car, and searching out parts for it, all long before the age of the internet came along, one thing became clear, parts for these Cadillac's were hard to come by. As I worked away collecting the cars and parts to restore them, and selling the parts I no longer needed it became clear to me there was a real need out there for these parts. It soon turned into a full time job selling the parts and helping others achieve their dream of owning and enjoying a vintage Cadillac. This is a used original engine block from a 1961 Cadillac. This will fit all 1961 Cadillac's, and could be used for other years as well, but please make sure it will fit your application for yourself before buying. This had been professional cleaned / hot tanked and magna fluxed for cracks at a machine shop and is good ! No cracks !!! The bore are the original size, it has never been machined, still original stock size. We are sure you will want to bore it or machine it before use again as it is used and has some minor rust and marks in the cylinders, nothing major and no big ridge at the top. This is a good used original block. We are selling this as a core unit for repair / rebuild before use. This will need to be shipped truck freight on a skid/pallet, please contact us for a quote before purchase, Comes as shown, Sold As Is. Please let us know if you would like any other info. Thanks
