About us

Welcome to the all new Shop Cadillacville. I am pleased to announce that CadillacVille is under new ownership & management. We have recently purchased the CadillacVille business, although I have been restoring Cadillac’s and selling Cadillac parts for over 25 years now. I've always loved cars, I worked and saved up to buy my 1st car when I was 15 years old, I just couldn’t wait any longer. I wish I could say it was a Cadillac, but I was only 15 and a sporty little convertible had caught my eye. While that car was lots of fun, it didn't take me too long to realize that comfort and style were 2 qualities in a car not to be overlooked, and so 25 years ago I bought my 1st Cadillac, a 1956 Coupe that needed restoration. As I worked away restoring that car, and searching out parts for it, all long before the age of the internet came along, one thing became clear, parts for these Cadillac's were hard to come by. As I worked away collecting the cars and parts to restore them, and selling the parts I no longer needed it became clear to me there was a real need out there for these parts. It soon turned into a full time job selling the parts and helping others achieve their dream of owning and enjoying a vintage Cadillac. 1957 Cadillac Transmission Shift Rod Linkage Bracket Kick Down Used Original 58

This is the Transmission shift linkage bracket from the side of the transmission, from a 1957 Cadillac. I believe this will also fit 1958 Cadillac’s, but I am not sure so please make sure it is correct for your application before buying it. This mounts right on the side of the transmission, on the shaft coming out of the transmission. When mounted on the shaft, this is the outer most bracket, I can’t remember if this is the kick down one, or the shift one though. I think it is the shift arm one. This is in good used condition, it is dirty and greasy and needs to be cleaned and painted before use again. It did come from a running car. Comes as shown, Sold As Is.
